VeriSign .COM/.NET Registry Announced Domain Price Increase Effective July 1, 2010

Please be aware that VeriSign Inc., a domain registry for .com and .net TLDs, recently announced price increase for .COM and .NET domains which will go into effect from July 1st, 2010. Here's the rundown:

  • .COM increases by USD $0.48 beginning on July 1st, 2010
  • .NET increases by USD $0.42 beginning on July 1st, 2010

All prices listed don't include any ICANN fee.  The price increase is world-wide for all domain registrars which will effect new registration, transfer and renewal of domain names.

In order to avoid this price hike, if you are planning to register, renew or transfer a domain name, you may want to consider it before July 1st, 2010 in order to take adantage of current lower prices.  Also just to remind you that multi-year renewals or registrantion will provide an insulation from registry price increases this year, and in the future.

Thanks for your support and happy domaining.

Best,
PAKHOST
